OFFICIAL RULES
Rules & Instructions | 2016 Critz Tybee Run Fest
The T-shirt design must include the following:
1. Be created in four-color (CMYK)
2. Include the Critz Tybee Run Fest logo (download logo below)
3. State the date of the run – February 5th and 6th , 2016
4. Design must include all 5 races: 5 K, 10 K, ½ Marathon, 2.8 mile Beach Run, 1 Mile Fun Run
5. Be 11 inches wide by 14 inches in height
6. Art must be submitted as a low resolution. Once the winning work is chosen, the file must be made available as a printable high-resolution PDF file by December 19th, 2015
7. Incorporate the fun and unique atmosphere of Tybee Island and the uniqueness of the event with sport and fun.
If the design does not incorporate these elements, it will not be eligible for consideration.

NOTE: Reproduction rights to the winning entry become the property of the Critz Tybee Run Fest and the Savannah Morning News. The Critz Tybee Run Fest and The Savannah Morning News will possess unlimited usage rights of the art in advertising, marketing and promotion, etc.
Since 2012 The Critz Tybee Run Fest and media partners Savannah Morning News and savannahnow.com, have received over 200 entries to the Tee- Shirt contest and the voting resulted in over 10,000 online votes each year, to crown the winning Tee Shirt design.
The person who creates the winning T-shirt design will have the artwork printed on the shirts of thousands of runners and receive a Tybee Island weekend prize package, provided by Tybee Vacation Rentals (www.tybeevacationrentals.com) and a gift card from Kayak Kafe www.eatkayak.com, both partners of the CRITZ TYBEE RUN FEST 2016. In addition the winner will be kept “moving” with a $100.00 Gas Card from Chu’s Mart(www.chusmart.com), the proud sponsor of the CRITZ TYBEE RUN FEST Half Marathon since 2015.

The Critz Tybee Run Fest (www.critztybeerun.com) is an annual weekend event, combining five different races from 1 mile to 13.1 miles, totaling up to the 26.2 mile marathon distance. With the variety of race distances, including a half marathon, the race event appeals to a mixed-skill spectrum of runners.
In addition to a world-class race atmosphere, the Critz Tybee Run Fest provides entertainment for families and friends traveling with the participants. Proceeds from the Critz Tybee Run Fest benefit a fund giving grants to organizations for education and a healthy lifestyle.

You must be 13 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
Winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If Savannah Morning News cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
Savannah Morning News reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Savannah Morning News reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the affiliate's' office.
Employees of Savannah Morning News, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to Savannah Morning News the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
Savannah Morning News reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, and/or Savannah Morning News. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
UPICKEM and Savannah Morning News are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
Savannah Morning News reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
